Sharing Bsnl Dataone Broadband between two pcs running LINUX

Hi Linux Friends………..

I need your help earnestly………..

I wanna share Bsnl Dataone Broadband Internet over two pcs running Linux…….

I have two pcs………

My server is having Windows XP and RedHat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server 4 installed over it

Also I have Bsnl Dataone Broadband Internet Connection………..

So far what I was doing is that my server was connected directly to internet through USB on Windows XP……..

My second pc (client) is directly connected to server through Ethernet…………..

My server is having Windows XP and RedHat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server 4 installed over it………..

Where as client is having multiple operating systems installed like
1. Windows XP
2. Windows Server 2003
3. RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 Work Station
4. Suse 10.1 Linux
5. Fedora Core 5

So far I have been able to share internet over client on all the operating systems….

Here comes the fishy point……..

Now I wanna switch over to RedHat Enterprise Advanced Server 4 on the server…..

The problem is that Bsnl Dataone Modem (Huawei MT 882) doesn’t get detected in Linux through USB but it does get detected through Ethernet……

But if I connect my server to internet through Ethernet on Linux, I can’t establish Local area Network Coz both server and client have one NIC (lan-card) each….

What If I buy another PCI slot Lan Card say eth1 for Linux on server….

What I will do is that I will connect server to internet through eth1 and at the same establish Local Area Network using eth0 of server …..

Under such circumstances is it possible to share internet over two pcs running Linux………..

I think it should be………but can u plz give some starting points, hints, links, docs, experience etc to share internet over two pcs running LINUX…….

Also I know pci slots lan cards often give pain in neck on Linux…….so which lan card to buy so that it easily gets detected in Linux………

oops! Linux needs router driver...perhaps eciadsl/eagle-usb may support ur modem?so eth1 aka another lan card Rs200 may help.also there can be dummy lan interface made...for eg like eth0 eth1 etc. for some purpose which i forgot yaar .sorry i learned that during my rhce classes,i'll refer if u want and post it here.
