I thought it would be really helpful to share our xorg.conf file along with the grahics card, monitor name and Distro.

1) just run this command in terminal
Code:
cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf > xorg.txt

2) Attach the xorg.conf file created in Home directory here.

Graphics Card: intel GMA X3000
Monitor: LG 700E 17' CRT
Distro: Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon)
