Serious trouble with sp2 and nero6

Hi all,

Nero6 was giving some compatibility issue warning on WinXP sp2 when I run it for the first time....I ignored it and burned an audio cd. Audio cd is working fine.....but my CD writer gave up, its unable to read any CD now!! I uninstalled Nero, swapped the Primary/Secondary cable....but all in vain!! Have I fried up the writer....want could be the trouble.....

Well...its not not the bundled one exactly!! Its premium one...anyway I'll try updating mine...

Give a try to latest nero or use winammp cd burn or some other writing software and then tell us the results!
