Screen Turns Blue....???

this is quite strange for me as i vitnessed this for d 1st time...

my screen turns much bluish at times...regardless of anything.....it comes back to normal at its own wit its convienience.....

ps:- no this is not software or driver or any windows application issue coz i observed dis even on boot menu...ne1 experienced wit somthing like dis....

my cnfg is-
Pentium 4 1.8GHz @ i845GV chipset,
256MB DDR,
ATi Radeon 9200SE Series (128MB),
DVD, CD-RW Drives,
40 GB HDD,
Network at Dial-up proxy or Airtel GPRS connection.

now is this a grphic card issue....or any heating problem.....i dun think radeon 9200 has a cooling fan n neither does it require one....shud i go for more cooling options....my cab is not that well ventilated as i suppose (frontech)....just d 2 fans one wit cpu n other at d power supply....can i attach more cooling fans here though its got only one socket for fans....waiting for response...thanx in advance

is it possible that the monitor cable has been damaged a bit?... I have a monitor that turns yellow slightly. Try adjusting the cable a bit and see if there is any change...

I've too was having a similar probelm......which occurs when ram is faulty. I replaced my 128MB ram with a new one and everything is fine now.

well gotcha....twas same on again this evening...n i hit my monitor wit my hands n it turned back to normal.....so there some some monitor fault....its working on hammering by hands....the problem is...its increasing wit time....rite now im typing wit this damn bluish screen...hitting everytime i dun feel gud abt that.....wat shud be here wit this....

Oh....I was also expereinced a silimar thing, after beating the monitor it turns normal.....but it happens. When I replaced my faulty ram it never happened again....so that means my monitor was alright!!!!!!!

now how is dat possible man....wen its clear u beat ur monitor n its changing.....cant be any ram fault....i guess theres some prob wit my crt...have to get it checked b4 its completely damaged n i wont even get any resale value for d new one.....though i wud give credit to it....its lasted for 7 yrs wit all punishment of shifting n all....ever since i bought my pentium 3 back in 99....ive changed everything even keybdm mouse n all...only monitor was left....one last suggestion i need is whether i shud go for replacement or try gettin it fixed by a vendor.....will i get resale value for this...rite now so far since morning its working gud....this is lg studioworks 45v.....any advice...

There is a problem with the internal circuitory of ur monitor. But there's nothing to worry about. One if the small parts on the PCB of ur monitor is loose. Not a big issue. Just get it checked by a technician.

And that's why it works perfectly on hammering.

Exactly the same problem with me. My monitor is as old as 6 yrs.
Everytime i hit it.

Change the cable. Or replace it

well how can it come down 2 cable...wen things look quite clear....so far its so gud but can be same anytime lets c..wil get it checked...

Remove the monitor cabe and find out if there's any bend in the pins that are projectin out...

Try out with a different cable if u could happen to get ur hands on one...

actually its indeed a cable fault....wen i play wit its power cable behind d screen changes.....now if itsa socket problem or cable problem i dunno but its gaining n i need to rectify it soon....ne idea how much a monitor cable wud cost

ps:- hitting was working coz of jerk twas providing to d cable....
