Samsung Galaxy tab 2 with low ram

Broken In
I purchased Samsung Galaxy tab 2 (p3100) 2 months back and now(via a software) i found that it has 687MB ram(instead of 1 GB).

Even galaxy s has same ram(my friend has it!!!)(=768 MB RAM,he has 680 MB)

I know 1 GB does not mean exact 1 GB but 687 is way too less,should i contact the dealer???
