WOW!!! what an entry (Samsung rams are for OEM only AFAIK). nice find Jassy.

they did the same with SSD. entered the retail market with a bang (NAND, controller & even PCB manufactured by them). Samsung on a roll. Hope they showup here soon. Or are Samsung ram already available?

I have Samsung PC600 RDRAM in a P4 PC still kicking at my native place, for almost a decade.

The performance of this kit is killer. Hopefully, these will be available here soon.

One question: with newer CPU sockets very close to RAM slots, can a RAM cooler be installed along with a high end CPU cooler?

depends on the width of the cooler. Watercooling should have no issues while for aircooling you might wanna check.

BTW RAM heatspreaders,fans etc are overkill. Corsair's original DHX (used in DDR2 and early DDR3 Dominator and XMS3 kits) solution is more than enough.
