S3 or original NOTE ?

I own a galaxy note N7000 - 11 months old ...
My friend knows some person in a mobile shop and he says that if i give my Note + 5000 Rs he could get me a New unboxed S3 indian version ..

I am seriously freakinn out .. whether to say OK or not

I however have the below problems with my Galaxy note ..

- short battery life even with custom kernels ( get avg 8hrs moderate use)
- Bigger screen (pocket)

Does S3 have a better battery than Note ( i know capacity wise NOTE's battery is bigger ) But what about the real usage wise ??

Does S3 have some drawbacks ??
has someone used it .. who can give me a feedback

I have checked the internet over S3 vs NOTE -- However i am under some dilemma

Note : I know S3 has better performing hardware.But when i tested my friend's S3 with ma note --- It didn't show that difference
he was on STOCK (S3) and i was on custom ROM (rocket Rom v12 ICS note)
Note had some 0.3 sec home button lag VS S3 a 1 sec lag running stock
Both have same num of apps Apprx ..

Note had some 0.3 sec home button lag VS S3 a 1 sec lag running stock
Both have same num of apps Apprx ..

About the Home button issue, the S3 has Home Button Lag because the phone actually waits for the second press in case the user wants to use S Voice.
Just go to S Voice on your friend's S3 then press the Option key>Settings and uncheck Open via Home Key. Then compare the home button lag.

I don't really know about the Note 's battery life but the S3 will last you about a couple of days for moderate to heavy usgage.
If you can wait for a few months then you may wsnt to wait for the S4 will be announced in April or May.

As of now IMHO the S3 is a much better device than the Note and you can consider it. But try to convince the shop keeper for a Sealed Unit rather than an Unboxed One..

I will say keep the Note with you,save some money and pick up a Galaxy SIV whenever it comes out

@OP, bro, wait and save money and look for 1080p screen phone such as Xperia Z or Droid DNA..
