^^I don't think that's a good idea. The purpose of the rig is gaming . Let OP decide if he wants to buy a costly HDD or good GPU. And he's planning to upgrade the monitor in future. So I'd suggest to get the best GPU at his budget and grab an HDD when prices are down.

I'll elaborate more..
I don't want to compromise on processing power. Hence I selected i5 2500.
As of now my budget is low for a gaming rig, so my main aim is to buy a pc that is upgradeable.

I might change the graphics card in 4 or 5 months and also buy a monitor when I decide to spend more on a gaming rig. Is it a good approach?

In that case the best idea would be to buy a i5 2500 + Intel DH67CL and use the IGP till you save enough money for a good GPU. I won't advice you to get an 8.3k GPU now and buy another costly card within 4-5 months.

The DH67CL has back USB 3.0 ports. By IGP I meant the Integrated Graphics on the motherboard. I suggest that you get atleast the HD 7770 or HD6850.
