I have set up LAN on 5 PCs. How to access the documents of all computers from the host computer and restrict other computers from accessing the host computer.

give limited user accounts to 4/5 comps and use ur admn rights to acess the host docs...
make the docs private though, WITH ur user option acess too...

OOps - srry , (XP)
to make folders private, go to props of the folder and in the sharing tab click the checkbox 'Make this folder Private '

To assign limited users , enable a password in the admin account and create a new user (ConPanel) and there u have it...

I think ur task manager can show some relative things...

no certainly it's not spying....afterall i want to monitor the works of my students practising in the lab of my computer institute.

a keylogger logs the things which have been typed

u can say

it monitors ur activities

to be precise a keylogger just records all the hits by ur keyboard and records where u clicked ur passwords.

many times used in crazcking passwords as it simply records what ur hit so lways cautious. okay!
