Restarts the Pc!.....

When i turn of the Monitor and against tur on with in sec/min my pc will automatically restarts.Why and what will happen,I am using the BPC .5Kva UPS and 15" monitor.

It could be because of the initial surge of voltage required to power your monitor - that your ups is unable to provide. Try connecting the monitor directly to the mains. Nowcheck and see if it happens again

its due to UPS
i get same problem with Microtek 600 VA UPS
i cannot start my monitor when running on UPS battory without restarting pc, but when mains are on, there is no problem.

btw why turn off monitor, use power saving modes.

well...i had seen that in a Digit issue a couple of months back(dont remember which one) in the Q & A section.someone had the same problem and Digit said to get the power supply checked at a service centre since it was faulty.i think your problem also lies in the power supply.check out that issue.

Do u use any large screen moitor?

several possibilities to ur problem

-->one may be monitor has become faulty

--> prob is caused by faulty ups

--> smps is not supplying enough power

--> or it mght be soemthing not to do witb ur monitor itself

My suggestion if comp is under warranty immediately contact vendor/dealor of ur pc

else get professional help from a pc doctor surely ur vendor will be more than obliging to help u
also if he says theer is a problem get it verifed by discussing it here
and then opt fore the solution or u mght be taken for a costly trip
