+1 for google sms channels. Your request is very interesting because many of the people do not want sms in their mobiles. BTW I am also a member of Google sms channel. Per day I receive many jokes, infos, shayaris, and other titbits.

i knw sms channel is free bt doesnt work in here in Nepal.
