This is a request that

whenever anybody clicks on a thread he should be taken to the latest reply automatically.

ie the last page of the thread.
It makes common sense in cases like the 'request for invitation thread'
few people go to the last page,and hence the people who have requested last rarely get what they want.

also going to the latest reply will help in case of thread 'Broadband offers in India'.

Don't you agree with me??

Ummm...if a thread is more than 1 page, all the other pages are listed under the thread title, including the "Last Page" that takes you straight to the the last page as you want.

why don't you scroll down yourself.

There is a small ">" arrow near each thread's "last reply by" link, just click that, it'll take you to the last reply automatically. It isnt wise to make the entire forum that way, will make it irritating for those who havent read a thread!

What happens to someone who is visiting the thread for the first time? If he is directly taken to the last post, how does he know what has been said already?

However, if you have posted in a thread, you get an email notification about a reply. You can use the link given in the email to go to the first post after you left the forum!
