Removing WMP11

I recently installed WMP11 on my PC...I liked this version of WMP but more often than not it crashes....Is it possible to remove WMP11 and install and older version i.e. WMP10...

WMP11 is better than WMP10. It is more stable too. Check out whether you have installed Beta version accidently. WMP11 is recently released officially.

Which genuine Windows version do you have?

Regarding ur question..Yes, u can uninstall WMP11 and install WMP10.

You must have installed the Beta of WMP11.If that is the case, then download and install the final release of WMP11.
WMP11 has not crashed a single time on my PC.

Still if u want to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 then goto "Add or Remove Programs" and remove "Windows Media Player 11" and "Windows Media Format 11 Runtime".

@ Manas...but there is no entry for Windows Media Player in "Add or Remove Programs"...

^^^ I'm not sure why, but I have an option to remove WMP 11 in add/remove programs list..!!
Try CCleaner to uninstall..I think it should work...

thnx ppl...I got it...I checked "Show Updates" box on top and the WMP11 entry appeared in "Add Remove Programs"...

On my PC, WMP11 is shown without checking that option.

Microsoft has launched the official version of WMP 11 for Windows XP.
