Open regedit and nevigate to:

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1085031214-583907252-725345543-500\Control Panel\Desktop

In right-side pane, modify the value of UserPreferencesMask to a0 00 03 80

Rightclick on the desktop and go to properties. Here, go to Appearance tab and select Advanced button. Now, in the "Item" drop box, select 'Active Titlebar'. Set Color1 and Color2 to the same color. Repeat for Inactive Titlebar if desired... Done...

I think Windows XP doesnt allow Color1 & color2 in Display properties!

@fatguysmart
Also do the same thing in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

Paste following code in Notepad and save the file with any name but extension must be .reg :

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"UserPreferencesMask"=hex:a0,00,03,80
Now run the file and merge the code in registry!

PS: Log off to see the changes!

Actually the digits after S-1-5-21- change from machine to machine.
So apply the trick to S-1-5-21-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx key.

And also did u apply the change to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop key, which I suggested in previous post?
