Reinstalling GTA 4 problemo.

Hey guys, as you know my HDD was corrupt recently and i had to re-install windows..
Now the problem is, I installed GTA 4 release date check failed so i tried manual activation & it was activated. When i run GTA 4, again i get release date failure & i can't activate it manually.. I even tried reinstalling the game, but same issue..

when you had uninstalled it should have asked for a " revocation" it connects to the site and revokes you activation key. if you didnt do that then the key you used would be already activated thus blocking you.

did you even uninstall??

^^The thing is, my internal HDD got corrupt so couldn't uninstall it.. This is a new HDD..

If you would have activated on steam u can download directly and play

From SecuROMOffline Installer package

That solved release date check.. After that i was able to play offline but not online, so contacted rockstar where i literally got no support. Some info on Steam forum solved the multiplayer issue..

Revoke your license of GTA 4 here: *support.securom.com/rockstarunlock/GTA_IV/index.php?c=revoke

For GTA 4 EFLC:*support.securom.com/rockstarunlock/GTA_EFLC/index.php?c=revoke

Then Re-install the game
