i have started this thread after looking at any previous posts regarding this topic there were none. well here is my problem

im running a windows 2000 on a 3Ghz based pc with 1gb ram and 120gb hard disk with the latest hardware.i had problems with my net connection so i did a complete format then after 2 weeks did another comple te format and i now kept the os with 6 clean partitions and for the os i kept a 5 gb partiton

the problem now i have is i keep getting this registry error from System to alert . it says its from microsoft it keeps asking me to download some registry fix software and fix the errors. these pop ups are driving me crazy the keep poping up every 2 mins and they keep saying download the registry fix from some give site . when i doo get to that site its a payed software .

1. how do i get a registery fix software whic is completely free?? coz when it downloads and scans and finds errors it then asks for money to fix it .
2.how to disable this altert all togeather
3. is there any way to manually fix it??
4. if we can fix it running regedit wat files do we have to delete??

Most probably, this popup is nothing but an ad-ware thats been installed on your system.

These adwares are meant to be popped up and direct you to their site.

Just download a free software like Ad-Aware(PE) and run an adware scan. You dont have to worry about anything, it will safely delete those files.

Regarding the registry fixes, you can use Registry Cleaner(even though its a trial software, but i think it should be good enough for a one time scan).

Search for these softwares from www.download.com

BTW, welcome to Digit..:D Dont hesitate to ask anything( as long as you've read the RULES and comply with it);)

Savvy:!:
