Receive Phone calls when connected to net????

I have a dial-up connection with 28.8 Kbps Modem. I wanna know how can i receive phone calls when i m connected to the net. Or is there any software which can give indication of an incoming call when connected???

there is a software called "media ring talk". u shud connect 2 da net using dis dialer cum phone software. when u r connected 2 net usin this software, then u can be alerted of in coming calls. But 2 ur disappointment., dis is a paid software. available at *www.mediaring.com/

if u keep call alert facility "on", then ur net will get disconnected when u get an incoming call ... and fone will start ringing ...

the call alert facility given by MTNL/BSNL ..... turn it on ...

i think u have to dial 118 (not sure.. confirm frm BSNL/MTNL) on ur fone and wait for a long beep.....

ur call alert will be turned on .....

Can anyone give me the detailed information about this?? Is there any inbuilt facility in windows available????Can anyone tell me which number is to be dialed exactly???

no any software can do this

only you will get net dialers

but i have one solution

yes the smart link internal modem of yours has this feature os supporting

but the server must support this feature

and i think sicne u ahev bsnl walla so the server dosn't support this feature
