hi quad_master,
I think i can help u. GRUB must have installed itself onto the MBR or the 1st sector of ur Linux partition.

U have to create a DOS Boot floppy. U can do this from winxp. Boot into DOS using this disk and type at the prompt
>fdisk /mbr
this will rewrite your MBR
again type,
>fdisk
you'll enter the disk partitioning menu.
* Here set c: as the "active partition"
* Write the partition table to disk.
*Now Remove the floppy and reboot. You'll be able boot into Windows.

If ur pc does'nt boot keep your cool and forget about the whole Episode. Er... I mean to say that this whole operation is a bit dangerous and could make your system unbootable. So be careful and try this steps only if u can really follow it. OK.
