Right off the assembly line
Hi friends and my PC is giving me headaches,
I am using 2 RAM sticks (i.e one is of 2 GB and the other is 1 GB) and it is DDR2.
Its stock clock speed is 667 MHz and my motherboard only supports 667 MHz and 533 MHz RAM.
First of all cpu z was showing the speed correctly but from many days it is showing my RAM speed only 333 MHz.
And an application called speccy is also showing the same speed.
Because of this under clocked RAM there is a huge impact in my games,
I have also tried interchanging the RAM from their slots but it is not helping.
Please help me in this friends....

CPU-Z never ever showed 667 Mhz in your case. It will always show 333 Mhz. Double Data Rate - multiply by two. Effective = 2 * 333 Mhz that's ~667 Mhz.

In my case it shows 666 Mhz. I'm running my DDR3 RAM at 1333 Mhz. When I run at 1600 Mhz, CPU-Z shows 800 Mhz.

Everything is fine and this was a "Google it" query. People have asked this lakhs of time on the Internet and this forum.
