please tell me is the 667 Mhz RAM is supported by intel D102 board which support maximum 533 Mhz ram. :?: :confused:

I think NO.

If motherboard support only upto 533 MHz RAM, than you can use 667 MHz RAM.

If it supports DDR 2 533 MHz then it will support DDR 2 667 Mhz in "reduced speed" i.e. 533 Mhz :)

if it supports only DDR 1 533 MHz then it wont support any DDR 2

I dont agree with you.
If your motherboard dont support 800 Mhz RAM..than you can't use 800 MHz RAM.

The RAM chip will underclock in following condition:
* suppose your motherboard support 667 MHz RAM, and you already have a 533 MHz RAM.Now to have added another RAM of 667 MHz.Than new RAM(667 MHz) will underclock to 533 MHz.

if it supports only DDR 1 533 MHz then it wont support any DDR 2
yes..even you cant insert DDR2 RAM chip in DDR1 RAM slot.Both RAM chip have different body structure, and so have different RAM slot.
