RAM prob!!

well a RAM chip has got golden coverings at the bottom my RAM is DDR2 but one the covering got removed as i put it upside down so the covering got scratched!! can that covering be replaced??? plzzz advice

U sud mention brand of ur system's RAM.

AFAIK, there is noway to reassemble, if it works use it as it is

ROFL! Insert it and see. If it doesnt work, there isnt much you can do about it.
