Hi,

i recently picked my cabinet to enable a decent HTPC config, but have got struck with configurations. Trouble is the specs i have is not getting a but difficult to be done. i decided to get a usb3 options provided by Gigabyte and intel but getting the boards i want has not been easy. i have been promised for availability of one option but this again is a conditional one :S
i have question related to the psu and the cooler for the rig. would be glad if someone could advise on the best cooler that i could get which will snug fit in the cabinet.
i need a low profile cooler as the spec of the cabinet do not permit a stock cooler. also what psu should i pick, will a cooler master 350 psu serve my purpose. i dont plan to use the rig for anything beyond watching movies.

thanks
Santosh

hmm, i got a cabinet now, and i am looking to adjust my budget around it. i picked a 1155 socket proessor. its a pain when you go out with your config, its easy to first survey the market and adjust your configuration around it but difficult otherwise.
i am looking for suggestions for low profile cooler for a elite 120 which could be picked in delhi. and a suggestion for psu :)

Cooler Master is not at all a good brand for budget users. Better get Corsair VS-450 for 2.4k.
And you want a cooler for cabinet or the CPU i.e HSF?

BTW what's the cost of Elite 120?

U sure that the stock cooler wont fit in? from what i saw the elite 120 can accomodate a full atx power supply and has ample headroom for a stock fan...
Since its an htp i assume u`ll be gng for a dual core or at max an i3 on that board...the stock coolers aint that high...and they remain pretty cool, so i would would nt reccomend an aftermarket cooler..
Regarding psu, u can go for the cx430v2/vs450, which one cheaper....

I'm sure you can also buy the PSU just my surveying the market then.
BUT, if you really want some sort of suggestion,
there are two PSU options for you:
1. Corsair CX430V2 @2.4K
2. Corsair VS450 @2.2K
CoolerMaster PSUs are best being avoided.
