[Query]: The hierarchy of ARM Cortex-A* series processors

Friends, just want to know which is the latest or the powerful among these ARM Cortex-A* series of processors.

Cortex-A15,Cortex-A12,Cortex-A11,Cortex-A9,Cortex-A8,Cortex-A7,Cortex-A5

I browsed through Wikipedia and some other sites,but it looks confusing.

Since in one place it is ARM9 and in other place it is ARM Cortex-A9,with different architectures,properties,etc.

If possible, please rank from the lowest strength to highest strength of the above ARM Cortex-A* CPU's.
