Planning to buy Gigabyte GA-B250M-D2V Motherboard for office PC along with HyperX Fury DDR4 Ram 4GB 2400 MHZ

While I was looking for motherboard's description I saw this

Support for DDR4 2400(O.C.)* / 2133 MHz memory modules

Now my question is, Would I need to overclock my Motherboard to support 2400 MHZ ram ? Would that be safe for a PC running 12 hrs everyday ?

I meant if I am buying 2400 MHZ ram I should use the whole power available or else opt for 2133 MHZ one. So my question is should I OC my ram to use its full capacity or opt for 2133MHZ version ram

Then you should not buy a 2400MHz ram & instead buy cheaper 2133MHz ram.If price difference is very little then only get 2400MHz ram.

Using a 2400MHz ram at 2133MHz will only bother serious gamers, for a typical user it does not mean anything in real world.Since this is a office PC it is completely pointless to even think about such things unless you work in a gaming software company & test latest games on PC.

The safest way to do it would be to choose an XMP memory profile but idk why you would want to do it on an office PC.
