putting up a forum

im making a website for someone, and well, its got an option of installing phpbb application or sumthn... basically, the forum software... i installed it on a sub-domain of the website, but i have no idea as to how to configure it...
i wanna pull up a nice little forum as soon as possible, so could anyone tell me how?

login as admin go admin control panel & do the configuration..difficult in it?

ummm... login where? i installed the app, but i dunno how to access the settings.... for eg. if i installed the app in the subdomain: *forum.abcdefgh.com
so how do i login to it?
cause theres nuthn in the index.php page on that subdomain after installing it...
so could you gimme a brief step by step thing on it?
