I am an user of Windows XP SP2. The thing is that when i boot the computer then at the welcome screen what happens is that there I get an error stating that the local profile could not be loaded so it will load a temporary profile. And each time whenever I run any softwares on this temporary profile then it runs as if it is the first time. All softwares begin from the welcome screen.
And this happens right from scratch each time I boot up the computer that is again clicking Next on all the software's welcome screens.
The problem occured suddenly.
what is the reason for the problem?
How to go about solving the problem?

the problem is solved. Just used the system restore and the problem was gone. But still am intersted in knowing why it happened?

the thing is that system restore has ended the problem. And I am not a member of some client domain .
I am just an individual home user.
