Processor query

hi my Amd socket 939 system is no longer working because my processor got burnt and i cant even claim warranty . now that there seems not much 939 proessors left in the market . what can i buy for my asus a8nm - csm 939 socket board . can i use the 940 2 on it ?

buy a socket 939 to AM2 adapter

but not sure if this adapter was made or not

but if u say ur processor got burnt then d chaces of ur mobo surviving d harm is pretty slim,

get it checked before buyin d new processor

well unles u find d adapter i told u about, u will have to go for a socket 939-based processor

if u dont find it behind the enemy lines den i suggest u check out ebay

or buy a new mobo+processor

yup, search ebay and international sites too tigerdirect and all.
but new mobo+proc is recommended, good mobo based on AMD690G or 690V may come in 2.5k easily.
