Processor not detected

I RMA'ed my Gigabyte M68 motherboard, they gave me a replacement for it.

When I came home and set it up again, It did not start up, giving a long beep continuously.

I read in forums that is the error code for "Processor not detected"

How can I know what is at fault? The processor or the motherboard? Should I go and get the motherboard replaced again?

Processor is AMD X2

If the processor worked with the older board and you didn't mishandle it, then the board is the culprit. take it to the service center and ask them to check it there itself.
