Problem with Partition Table

Hi,
I tried to install Norton Partition Magic in my PC.When I run the program I am getting an error message
"Init Failed:Error 117"
"Partitions Drive Letter Cannot be Identified"

And when I click "OK" the program exits.But I am able to partition using "Acronis Partition Magic".But some other partition softwares also give me some error message and the exit.
Please give me a solution

i dnt knw wats d prob bt dnt use such s/w these are nt stable n even can cause problem
