THe speed of my processor is shown 1533 Mhz by crystal CPUID but is running on 1152 Mhz.I cant figure out the problem. Please tell me what is the problem and how can i solve it

Its not the FSB speed, its the actual speed. The performance rating (PR) of your processor is 1800+. But its actual speed is 1152 MHz (as told by you). Since it is running at 1533 (as told by CPUID), i guess its normal. A few MHz here and there is fine. By the way, AMD underclocks itself at lower loads. So try checking at full CPU load.

My FSB is set to 100 while EVEREST says dat its original FSB is to be 133MHz and is there any way to increase it instead of doing it via BIOS coz there's no frequency option in my BIOS. ALSO it is updated means i'm not using old BIOS which shud b updated 2 get da frequency option

PS:sorry in my first post i wrote the proccessor speed not FSB speed

Check out your motherboard manual. There should be some jumper settings to set the FSB. Also, double check for an updated bios!

Hmm.. cannot say anything! Every motherboard has different jumper settings. Jumpers are two contacts which you have to short. They are explained in the manual. Cannot say anything without the manual! Im soooo sorry!

Read it and find the jumper settings for setting FSB. Look for FSB or jumper in the contents.
