Cool and Calm
Every now and then, the task manager shows 100% CPU usage making the processor very slow. It shows that the process "rundll32" is using the CPU.
This is unnecessary.

I need to end this process again and again so that the processor
gets back to normal state ("system idle" process showing 99%.)

How can i prevent rundll32 using the CPU?

Seems like an infection to me, scan and post the results please.

Yes, Qwerty is right. Only a virus infection or a service like Copernicus Desktop Search,
which indexes files when the PC is idle , show the CPU usage as 100%. If you haven't
initiated a CPU intensive task. The virus or other malware is the culprit!! So scan
your System fully with latest virus definitions. Also use a good firewall like ZoneAlarm.
