problem /w transcend usb JF30 / 2gb

i just my transcend JF30 and i download some movie so i can play it in my dvd but when i put the usb in the dvd player it doesnt work, no light in the flash drive but it lights in the pc and it doesnt work on other dvd i try it once in my friend dvd but no use but when he tried his trascend usb(dont know the brand) it works perpectly he can play songs, movie and can see pictures what is supposed to be the problem?

yeah and i even transfer the file from the computer to my usb that i will suppose to watch in my dvd player

what file system are you using on pen drive, NTFS or FAT32?

only FAT32 is recognized by DVD players (LG).

btw, USB wont light up untill you select it in DVD menu (in TV).

yeah its FAT32 and as i saw in my friend dvd player when he plug his usb it automatic detect it
