Problem in Lan Data Transfar Speed...!!!

    Dear all friends

    I m facing problem in transfer Big Big Movie Files through One Computer to another...!!

    In my instatuate there r 100s of computer...!!

    But some computer transfer 1 VCD (700 MB) File take a 3 Mins to copy...!!

    but in my computer it will take around 65 MINs...!!


    i have a 10/100 Mbps Lan card..!!
    2.6 P4
    Intel D845GVSR Mother Board..!!
    80 GB Barakuda...!!
    and 256 MB ram...!!
    Os XP Pro....!!

    and

    another computer which is taken 3 mins that computer have a

    P4 2.8 HT
    D865GBF
    40 Barakuda..!!
    OS XP Home



    so how can i increase my networking speed....????

    well did you try doing teh cpoying again
    the thing is you cant increase teh speed but do the copying stuff at times when you know that the network would not be thronging with connections
    as you said 100s of computers
    the speed i.e the bandwidth is shared and so you will get the right quota of speed as possible
    to do a faster copying
    do it in late nights when people are busy sleeping

    Dear ur right...!!

    But told u that at same time if i copy same movie from same computer on my friends computer it will tame around 3 min for whlole VCD (700 MB)

    so why it is tooooo fast in my friends computer and tooooo slow in my computer...!!

    i want to know which setting i have to make...!!

    use CC transfer .....for transfering file within LAN
    It is fast and secure
