printer+ scanner needed 3-4k

hi digitians,
I am looking for a good printer and scanner combo. My budget is around 3-4k.

laser printer would be good.

Any suggestions?

Canon's cartridges are cheaper than HP though. Compare the specifications yourself.

F4488 cost me 4.5K here in B'lore, donno about Hyd. I hope you can stretch your budget a little more as it is a good printer. Although in the same league Canon MP258 was retailed at Rs 4K but I went ahead with HP due to the reason opposite to as mentioned by ico in the post above...HP cartridge was cheaper!
