[PREVIEW] April 2005 Digit DVD

My April'05 DVD and also CD both are not working.
No autoplay.
all corrupted exes
all bad zips
all bad movie trailers
wallpapers are not opening.
all files do not open.

Total bad CD/DVDs. I changed my CD/DVD 3 times.
All were corrupted. The CD/DVD are not burned properly.
What to do now? Whom to contact?
I am from Pune.
Please help!!!

Hey, whats the problem man ? I have the exact same problem as above. Please tell me who to contact, and whether i will need to incurr any costs ?! :shock: :shock:

First time digit gave me a bad experience, and i dont want it to last for long, i trust digit that much. :)

Start.hta just opens a window, nothing else.
Are bhai if autorun was courrupted then wont the folders be accessible where we could run the setup by doubleclicking the file? But it dosent happen. exe files do not launch setup for any file. No images open, nothing.

The only folder that is acessible is DIgital Business.
Thats all that is working. Nothing else.

Hi friends,
Same problem here, my CD is working in Win Explorer but the DVD is totally damaged, i can't use it.
I hv changed the DVD 4 times,but no help.

plz tell us where to send the DVD to get a free replacement!!

what customer service dude, they need to set base camps in every city to solve this problem

i recommend use of the patron code to verfy purchase and send dvd by filling a form on net.



you know what the real problem is , dont u

digit is still living in denial

i think digit as a whole need to see the shrink, and stop living in denial'

small suggestion ......

u can do one thing .... ship the correct DVD to all your subscribers ....

and ship the correct DVD to all the news stands in country ..... just as u send the magazines .....

and the news-stand buyers can giv the old/non-working DVDs and exchange it with the new ones ......

and still if news-stand buyers dont get their correct DVD then take their address and ship it to their address ...... and ask them to return their DVD ....

i think .... digit has to bear all the cost ...bcoz it was their fault .....

i think iinfi is correct and if this is not possible this month, send the correct DVD/CD nxt month along wid nxt months magazine and DVD/CD.

they can verify it with the patron code, (if they want to replace it in the first place)

every digit has patron code.
Look at the page 120, the last page of digit this month.
There at the bottom is patron code.

Hey, i really dont like the idea of waiting for the DVD the next month.
C'mon digit can afford to ship the DVD to all subscribers.

If not, please think of a solution that is viable to both, digit and subscribers, but think of something fast...

Hmm, no word still from admins. I was wondering why this thread hasn't been converted to FEEDBACK of April'05 DVD, but then since the DVD's are anyways unusable, so....

I also, like most guys here, suggest to provide extra DVD along with May issue. Anything else is impractical and inefficient.

And what abt the newsstand Buyers? Should they stand to lose?
Or Should Free DVD's be Shipped to the NEwsstands also with the
instructions that everyone who gives a Digit DVD should be provided with
the new DVD? And pray,How will it be enforced? Many Newsstand-wallahs
don't know a DVD from CD (Atleast those I've encountered,Don't)So anyone
who walksin with a DVD/CD will get the New DVD.Is'nt this Illogical?

The best step should be to Provide two DVD's next month.Fair for all.

yup just received my copy today only ;)
and yup as everyone says, all the files seem to be corrupt except the Digital Business - > Tools folder which seems to have all the files intact ...
any responses from digit yet ?

Says who ? Did i imply that ? :p As far as the newstand readers are concerned, they can just post their dvd to digit and then get the replacement, maybe ?

they can check, it by patron code, as none of the dvd is working anyway
