:grin::grin:Bought rockford kit for my car(swift dzire)...

Rockford Amplifier 4 channel+Rockford basstube 1100 Watt+Rockford RC converter+Original wiring kit...:-D:))

The whole kit costed me 20k including fitting and tuning...Gosh can't explain the bass beat..it made my car tremble..lolzz:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Will buy the speakers soon...till then can anyone recommend good speakers??I heard Infinity company is the best..

Will post the pics tomorrow...:smile:

Thanx man!!i actually did the booom booom in salt lake today...lolz...was great fun to put the music at loudest possible :twisted: and making the way thru the crowd in swimming pool area(salt lake)...lolzz:grin::grin::grin:

Hey guys,

Help me out here.
What to do with my old rig?
Memory okay, HDD okay, ODD okay, FDD okay, GPU okay
Mobo/Processor/PSU --> suspect...
I want to keep this rig alive, make it serve as my 24/7 downloader system.
Anyone know how I can determine which one out of the my mobo/proc/psu is dead? (I really hope its the PSU.. lol)
BTW, the problem is, when I boot, I dont get no BIOS beeps, no sh!t, just Proc fan going whir and nothing on the monitor (monitor light remains red and does not turn green).
A few days back it was at least posting and now thats stopped too.
A few days before that, it used to crash at random (BSOD/random restart) (and at such times, I noticed, Proc used to clock down to 500 MHz from 2GHz sometimes)
Proc is P4 2.02 GHz/Mobo is Gigabyte GA8VM533/PSU is some old Frontech 300 W crap(ah maybe I shouldnt call it crap, it did fine for 7 years ;) )

@Mario..New Thread would be appreciated..But it's your first so..welcome to the league;-) I had the problems a lot on my P4...But solved it each time doing the following things...
1)take out the HDD's IDE connector to the motherboard..insert it again and voila...
2)if that doesn't work take out your RAM's blow into the socket and then tightly replace them in their..

these two did it for me everytime until i got fed up and got my current rig..

The last option is to buy a new PC though it will cost you a bit..if you are fine with that start a new thread fill this template..*www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-components-configurations/128247-pc-build-questionnaire-template.html

You said 7 years??p4 7 years back must have cost a BOMB..:shock:...just let it R.I.P..you already have sucked all the juice out of it...

:grin:just got my vx550 really happy with my move up to a good psu, tho dad did manage to get himself ripped off buying it for 4.9k +4% vat from comp gallery(kolkata) while it sells for 4.65k + 4% vat at vedant comps :x

Huh? Vedant quoted 4.65k for VX550? Why, I bought my new rig just 3 weeks back, they charged me 4900 for my VX550 plus VAT 4%....

Now I am feeling ripped!! :p :p :p :p :p

On a more serious note, enjoy ur 550 dude!! Frankly, just looking at it inside my rig (which runs 24/7) gives me confidence!! :p :p :D

Hey dudes, planning a purchase --> a new external HDD
Requirements -->
a. Should be powered by USB only.
b. Physical size not an issue.
c. Capacity upwards of 500GB, 1 TB and above preferable.
d. Price 3.5K to 4K only, not a penny more.
e. Brands preferred --> WD or Seagate.

This is for a colleague. Will buy this in Jan 2011. Am from Kolkata. Prefer buying from a shop rather than online. Please suggest.

I was looking at the WD Passport 1TB HDD. Anyone know its price in Kol?
