NIGHTMARE

ANGEL OF DEATH
What is this exactly? I mean, where do you use this?

LED. Anywhere you want like basement and many places. You can replace CFL by this LED (Juggad) , just need DC 6 V supply and aluminium sheet behind the LED for heat spreader. When you see LED for one sec, you eye going to fogi for at-least 6 to 7 sec.

Got Netgear DGND3700 N600 Wireless Dual Ban Gigabit ADSL 2+ Modem Router from infibeam for Rs.9550/-. Opening the package took me more time than setting up the system. Got connected to internet in no time, apple tv, NAS drive, iphone all working fine :)

Have tried MBP on 5GHz and I feel 2.4GHz gives better range than 5GHz.

NIGHTMARE

ANGEL OF DEATH
Source please!! :p

Local market. I order personally for this because I saw many bulb's on deal extreme they too expensive $15 to 25 $ even more than that but compare to this LED they are nothing because it consist 4 LED in one casing. It only consume 5 Watt compare to CFL 10-15 Watt and the light of these LED there is no match. If you put a reflector behind then you can get more. You can also use 12V supply to put two LED in series but I don't think so anyone need that because too much. In many way LED is better amount of light, power consummation, less chance to fuse until you mess with power supply and use different location. I'm working on it. When this desi juggad get completed I will post the tutorial.

@ Nightmare, 4K for 16nos 5 watt Ultrabright LED's seems an overkill. I hope you're not planning to completely overhaul you home lightning. If you're, that's something extremely good coz you're moving towards greener lightning. Both me and my brother have been experimenting with LED's for the almost past 6 years, and now have moved to these Ultrabright LED's. We've replaced three of our lights in bathrooms, and one in the staircase. I'd like to recommend you to kindly keep a look on it's cooling though. The ultrabright LED's tend to become quite heated up, you need to mount these on aluminium heatsinks from some electronics components stores with the some thermal paste if you haven't already done so.

Those looking to experiment with LED's can try out Ebay, particularly 1 watt led's as these are somewhat easier to handle and wouldn't produce too much heat as compared to 5 watt ones nightmare has purchased. I can suggest various ebay stores cost2cost_eshop, and geebeetraders. But please buy the ones with the heatsink and not without one, as the led produces too much heat and if it's not dissipated, it'll damage the LED.

Yes they are overkill. Really you have plenty of experience, great man. Actually I'm looking for any casing to put both adapter supply + LED and if possible casing having reflector that would be great but hard to find because quality matter here otherwise reflector going to melt. I already have aluminium sheet and silicon paste, when get the time I will do the work.

@d6bmg congrats

Those two links were helpful. I thought that bright LEDs isn't available in India.

Congos everyone for their purchases.
@ Nightmare, You can try :+: www.onlineTPS.com - Electronics and Robotics Components Shop - India, Components at your Doorstep - Satisfaction Guaranteed for other related purchases, like casing, etc, as they store such things. But the only problem is that their shipping is pretty costly. And for the reflector part, you can simply put an aluminium foil lining inside the casing, but you don't need any reflectors. Since LED's are directional, they will emit their light in front only and the reflector at the back or on sides won't help much.
I suppose we should not clutter this thread with the LED discussions. I'm creating a separate thread for the discussions on LED's, with what I've done at my home and would request you and other members to contribute to this thread too. Will share the thread's link here for you guys to visit there.
