bought a 160 gb SATA hard disk after my old hard disk stopped working and took all the data with it (now i wish i had made a back up)
160 gb sata cost around 2k in chennai

all seagate hdds comes with 5 yrs of warranty...regardless of pack/where u purchase.

I have replaced 3 times my laptop portable seagate hdd(3 yrs old).....(once it got wet in rain the other two times i dropped it accidentaly)

replacement takes no more than 2-4 days...max a week.

Man i suggest go for Western Digital....its kinda personal choice and my past experience was bad with seagate!
