Thanks max and megamind. Why is it so, max?

I don't know actually..When I'm playing @ max(hardcore,1920*1080) setting after a while, I have a black screen for a second and then return to the game..that happens couple of times.Then i set the game to Gamer mode...runs ok.
Any idea??
