If you are asking me, the person I got it for was adamant on an all Intel system with a C2D(the intel people sure know how to market their products) and its foolish to get a P4/early dual core.
The DG965RY has integrated soundcard, LAN and X3000 GMA, a good thing for a first computer.

Sure, an Asus would be good for ocing, but noobs haven't heard of it.
I bet SoftFSB/Clockgen or a similar utility will help the hapless Intel mobo users to get some contol over their processor.

Don't worry bout me, i'll get myself a quad with handpicked RAM, a deluxe Asus with SLI and 8800 GTX, and a 22" LCD when i have the booty.

I ordered AppleCare Protection Plan, cost me Rs. 15,080 and I had no problems in registering. My warranty coverage has now been extended to three years of full phone support and repairs. :)

Problems:

It is having LOGO of "WORKS WITH VISTA", But drivers are provided for only Windows XP. Now I surfed Microsoft.com and found Driver of 300Mb size. But too large for me to download.

How will it work on my Vista?

Ok then. From what I heard about that particular xoom shop in SP road in Bangalore, I tried there first and was told a price of 11900. But good that I tried getting the priced confirmed from some other shops, I came to know there is only one shop nearby whos deals with sapphire cards and these buggers get it from him and with a hefty margin. Anyway I got the card for 10.6k from that shop then.
So I would like to advice people not to go to xoom, since I have seen quite a posts refering people to that place.
