portable linux OS

is there any procedure to make opensource Linux os portable , where double click and run the Linux os inside the windows os , ie without booting. please help me. thank you.

you can do it using VirtualBox.. Get a Linux ISO, Download Virtual Box.. create a 8GB Virtual Box Space Partition and run it

Download Universal USB Creator, select your Linux flavor, then the software will create a bootable OS in a pen drive. You can then attach the pen drive to the computer and boot from the pen drive to start Linux. Google for Live Linux for more details.
