Hello friends

I am desparately trying to forward one port manually in this router provided with my Dataone BB Connection, but no matter how much I try I always get an error massege: "ERROR: Error found on this page".

I have succesfully created the new rule involving the port I desire to forward, the only problem is I can not add this rule.

This happens with either a newly created rule or an existing template rule which are inbuilt. I triedto restart [power off and on] the router, but that did not help.

Could some one please help me? :(

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for your help. I have solved the problem, by changing the Router's Operating mode from BRIDGE to PPPoE.

But I have a new problem where I need advice.

As mentioned my connection type is 500 Home plan, with 2.5GB Data Transfer Limit per Month.
When I use my router in Bridge Mode, I have one dialing option, where I need to input the bsnl user name and password and then it connects to the internet. So after the connection I have two icons in my System Tray, one for LAN and the other of the connection.
This method of connection is preferable for me as I have a Data Transfer Limit.

As I changed my router to the PPPoE mode, I found out that the dialer became defunct and as soon as I turn on the Modem I get connected to the internet. Some thing like "always on unlimited connection". Though I would prefer to run my router in the PPPoE mode, I would not like to connect directly to the internet as soon as I power the router.

So is it possible to use my Router in the PPPoE mode but use a Dialing option instead of the getting connected directly? This is necessary for me to control the Data Transfer Limit. If possible then please tell me how.

Please help.

Thank you.

The following is the screen shot of the PPPoE connection page of my router.
Could you please check it out and help me please?
