Pls Help

Hello friends,recently I bought a laptop from my friend.Iam going to use this laptop for presentation, music, browsing and to store files. The following s/w are there in my lappy 1) j2SE runtime environment 5.0 update 6 (119.00MB)2) java 2 runtime environment, SE v1.4.2_03 (136.00MB)3)lernout & Hauspie truvoice American TTs engine Do I need this s/w to run my system? What is the use of these s/w?

J2SE runtime environment is for programs built in JAVA. TTS engine means Text To Speech engine.. You do not need these softwares for any of your applications listed.

java runtime environment is required for browsing. If it is not installed, you may not be able to to enjoy many sites that uses javascripts.

you may uninsall all those software... JAVA sofwtare u maintioned is for development purpose... therefore ur need, u pay uninstall and delete all those 3 software...
