Hello,
I need to buy a basic phone for my mum. Something very similar to the old Nokia 1100 and 2100, which are discontinued now.
Priorities are as follows:
1. Clear uncluttered screen with large readable text(monochrome will also do).
2. Good tactile Keypad with large keys.
3. Loud call speaker and ringer.
4. Basic Phone for call and little sms with no frills and thrills.
5. UI must be simple and easy to navigate(So Motorola and likes is a no-no)
6. Max Budget is around Rs: 4000/-
I have done some research and am confused among the following many phones:
Nokia: 1203, 5030(XPress Radio), 2700, 2600 classic.
Samsung: E1160, B2100 Marine (Never used samsung before, so not sure on whether UI is simple and easy to use)
Kindly provide me your best suggestion either among these or any other one of your own.
