Please suggest me LCD/LED monitor

Hello,

My relative's 7 year old 17" crt monitor recently went out of order. So they are looking for a new monitor and we decided to look at both options of 15.5" and 18.5".

Please suggest us which one to buy depending on size. So if it's 18.5", which one and likewise for 15.5". Maximum we can spend is Rs.6500.

Do suggest some options in 15.5" as well. LED preferred. Also Samsung/Dell/LG preferred.

The main purpose of the monitor will be browsing net, some office work and some photo editing occasionally. The motherboard is an old P4 one but he also has a dell laptop with core i3.

I donno about other's. I have a Acer AL1706. Its 6 years old and running like new. Build is very good. and the most important its screen is really antiglare. Refresh rate 75Hz.
For my next monitor, I will definitely choose Acer.

LG 18.5 inch LED - E1942C
AOC 18.5 inch LED - E943SWNK
BenQ 18.5 inch LED - GL950A
Dell 18.5 inch LED - IN1930
Samsung 18.5 inch LED - S19A100N

All of these are good options

15.5 inch too small IMO. Would recommend the 18.5 inch monitor. I have the Benq GL950A, it's a good monitor. Movies also look good on it. Would cost max 5.4k at a local store.

Ok, will consider the 18.5" options then.

Samsung 18.5 inch LED - S19A100N and Dell 18.5 inch LED - IN1930 seems to be good options, both around Rs. 6200 mark.
