Please help me decide on pnone 10k-15k

I wanna buy a cell phone in comming week.

My prioritys are:

1.very good mp3 player

2.Very good camera

3.crystal clear large screen.

4. Edge is not my consideration.

5. the phone shuld be stable.


My budget is around 10k to 15k.

I am open to SE as well as Nokia.

Should i wait till another 3 weeks cause then budget will take effect.

W810i is good enough for your needs. However, I would recomend buying a W700i insted....not only it's cheap but also sufficient.

K750i is good but it's an old beast, will be out of production by April so bettre buy now if u can find one

Don't go for N73ME for 20k, u can buy a Fridge, 14" TV & Washing machine in 20K

I have w810i and now purchase N70 music edition for rs. 15200/ but I will definitly say sound quality and processor rock of w810i and i will suggest for SE w810i its super........

how can u test the processor of w810i wit just 1-2 applications running...

^^ The processing speed in non-smartphones can be guessed by observing certain things like the time required to open large images, the time required by camera to capture high resolution image, quality of video playback, menu browsing, etc. Thats probably how he found out the processing power of his W810i. And from my observation, the W810i manages the above mentioned things quiet fast.

Of course not! When did i say that? You just asked how can one test the processing power of W810i and i just told a few ways one can test it. I never meant that N70 ME is slow.

As Inflation is on its peak in all Market, it's really 50-50 chance for Price Increase or Reduction.

Reduce price you do not get in March, as per me Reduce price product arrive in or avail in mkt after March end i.e. in April, so if you can wait till April can get/see Budget Affect on Price.

Its really getting dificult for me to buy a cell phone.

I just cant wait anymore to get one since i hav sold my 6600.

I think i should go for combination, k750i + 1 GB stick + HPM-70 headset.
How it sounds, and how much it will cost me in MUMBAI.

But before i go for it please tell me these things.

1. will this combination rival any dedicated mp3 player.

2. will i need digital camera anymore.

3. Most important thing "WILL I REGRET BUYING THIS COMBINATION".


anyways how headphones of k750i sounds, do i really need to buy
HPM-70 which will cost me 1K+.

K750i is a good phone but also an old one. The combination you mentioned would have been great a few months ago but not now. Many people are complaining about unimpressive sound quality in current K750i, even with HPM-70. It seems SE has messed up with the Mega Bass preset in K750i deliberately to make sound worse than the one in Walkman phones, clearly giving Walkman phones the advantage in sound quality. So the sound quality in latest phones isn't as good as the previous K750i. For that reason, i recommend you go for W810i as the music is great and the camera is excellent too. If you go for W810i neither will you require a mp3 player nor a digital camera and you definitely won't regret buying it.

K750i from 9.6k - 10.3k
HPM-70 (Not Made by Sony - hard to know if don't every seen Original One, other method is listen some 5-6 latest songs with Stock Head Phone and than use HPM-70 if no different in sound by the same HPM-70 and pay Original price premium but if it is down to Stock Head Phone it is not Original but you still like this than pay from 250-450)

as i seen : there is no lens cover for camera.

as i heard: its not very stable phone.

wat u guys hav to say about this ??
