    Use pixlr for pic editing, great free app. It has lots of options.

    For videos, I found Quik video editor good, but I don't work with videos much, so there might be better options.

    Unless you are using an old phone, you should have sufficient storage to have 2 apps.

    Check out Snapseed for photo editing.

    I do not edit any pictures, but I recommend using ActionDirector for eiditing videos. It works wonders for me!

    Yeah, KineMaster pro is pretty good, it is used for professional mobile video production

    Funimate is one of the surprisingly popular, but not overly powerful video editor apps. It bills itself as being a great app for making music videos or simple videos out of the stuff you already have on your device. There are 15 video filters that you can play with and the creation process is fairly painless.

    snapseed is the best free editing app for photos while VSCO X stands for paid editing app for photos as well as videos (limited functionality for videos but great filters)

    I use LightX for picture editing. It's by far the best photoshop like app. I can easily detach subject from background and use another picture like layers in it. It's one app that I had to purchase even for additional features.

    Also I am surprised there are so many video editing apps on Android.
