My sentiment exactly, but if something happens to it in India then what happens? Samsung won't repair, are there any third parties who can do this? Would be willing to pay for it.

Samsung wont do that cause its LG along with Google. So as sayan8 says the phone will be here around Nov end. Therefore you can avail service here from LG if sth goes wrong.

if it priced like 8gb=18k & 16gb=22k...it will sell like anything ;p
