She was earlier using iphone 4s which is lost now and she is no mood for using another ios device. So i want her to get a basic feel of new OS which she could use preferable android. So that at a later stage I can invest in a good phone.

if you can wait, definitely go for Zenfone 5. You have Moto G but paying 3k more, you are only getting better battery backup & Android 4.4 out of the box. Not quite worth it. Sony launched E3 a few days ago but at 12k, Moto G is better in every way.

If you can extend by 13k Moto G 2ng gen is really good phone. My 3 colleagues own 2nd gen. However 2nd gen is not as good as 1st gen when it comes to single handed operations. Camera is good enough and works perfectly in natural lights.

Moto G2 is what i will recommend stock android,improved front and back camera,Expandable memory,good screen,Dual speaker and moto trust what more do you need.

Android one phones can be considered. Their build quality and performance is surprisingly good.

I was not willing to spend that much on an unknown ecosystem which she might not like. Iphone is her known device so she said why not and along that she was tires of putting in her password every time. Touchid is cool.

ios is very user friendly!! :)
