PCMCIA Card reader price

Hello guys

There is a Pcmcia card slot on laptops , Hutch is offfering Internet connection Via Pcmcia card which comes for 8k, But is there any External or Optical drives such as Pcmcia card reader For desktop Pcs If yes Than how is th connection speed. and where is it availiable.Th hutch call it as their edge data card.

Why are you getting one of those for a desktop PC. The net speed is very slow on those cards. It is less than 64kbps in most cases. Better get the Reliance data cards, they cost around 5k. As for your first question, check eBAY. I don't think you should consider them unless you actually have one of these data cards getting wasted.
